Kick keeps 5% of subscriptions and KICKs tips, so a streamer gets $4.75 of every flat $5 sub and $950 of $1,000 in fan payments. Subs become available after 5 hours of streaming in total. Kick Partners also earn per stream from a formula Kick does not publish, and all payouts run through Stripe, monthly by default or weekly for verified streamers.
Kick lets streamers keep 95% of every subscription and tip, the best published split of the live platforms we review. Subs cost a flat $5 worldwide, so each one pays $4.75, and $1,000 in fan payments leaves $950. The weak points sit around that split. Kick’s per-stream Partner pay comes from a formula it will not publish, payouts only reach countries Stripe supports, and Kick’s own help pages use different names for the same tiers.
How much does Kick take?
Kick takes 5% of subscription and KICKs revenue as of October 2026, and describes that 5% as a processing fee rather than a platform cut. There is no monthly plan and no fee to join the Partner Program.
| Revenue stream | What the streamer gets | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions | 95%, or $4.75 of each $5 sub | Flat $5 price in every supported country |
| KICKs tips | 95% of the value sent | Kick’s tipping currency |
| Kick Partner Program | Per-stream pay at an unpublished rate | Halved while multistreaming |
| Platform ads | Nothing directly | Kick says Partner pay covers it |
| Bounties | Set by each campaign | Paid in gift subs or Kick Shop gift cards |
Kick does not use regional pricing. Every sub, gifted sub and KICKs purchase is priced in USD at the same global rate, so each subscriber is worth the same $4.75 to you wherever they live.
For streamers paid in a currency other than USD, Stripe charges a 1.5% conversion fee that Kick absorbs. Your own bank may still add foreign exchange or receiving fees.
How do Kick payouts work?
Kick pays through Stripe only, monthly for most streamers and weekly or monthly for verified streamers. Switching to weekly means emailing Kick’s support team. Kick does not offer early or on-demand payouts.
| Where you live | Payout method | Typical arrival |
|---|---|---|
| United States | ACH bank transfer | 2 to 3 business days |
| United States | Instant payout to debit card | Minutes, capped at $9,000 per payout |
| Outside the US | Stripe bank payout | 3 to 7 business days |
Your first payout follows Stripe identity verification and the end of the next monthly cycle, which can be up to 30 days after the month ends. Kick publishes no minimum payout of its own, though it notes that some countries impose thresholds by law. If Stripe does not operate in your country, Kick cannot pay you at all, and its help center gives no date for adding more countries.
How do you make money on Kick?
Kick has three steps, and each one opens up more ways to earn. Its help pages are inconsistent about names, calling the first step both Affiliate and Partner, so go by the requirements rather than the label.
Turning on subscriptions
Stream for 5 hours in total, and the Enable Subscriptions button appears in your Streamer Dashboard. The hours are cumulative, so short sessions over several days count. You then set up a Stripe account with ID and bank details. Anyone who has reached streamer status in Achievements and connected Stripe can also receive KICKs, the tipping currency viewers send with pinned chat messages. Viewers can send between 1 and 50,000 KICKs at once, and bigger amounts keep a message pinned longer. Kick treats every KICKs transaction as final, so tips are not refunded.
Getting verified
Verification is the gate to the Partner Program. According to Kick’s Partner page, you need these within the past 30 days:
- 15 hours streamed
- an average of 50 concurrent viewers
- 100 unique chatters
- 10 active subs
You also need a confirmed phone number, two-factor authentication, no username change in 30 days, 2 VODs in the past 7 days and no terms of service violations in 30 days. Verified streamers get the weekly payout option.
The Kick Partner Program
The Kick Partner Program pays verified streamers for every stream on top of their subs. Kick launched it in February 2024 as the Kick Creator Incentive Program and says it has paid out more than $400 million since. To apply, you need a verified channel, a completed About section and social links, plus 75 average concurrent viewers, 30 hours streamed, 25 active subscribers, 250 unique chatters and 3 VODs in the past 30 days, and at least 250 followers. You email Kick once you qualify, and meeting the numbers does not guarantee entry.
Fast Track skips those metrics for creators with an audience elsewhere. Kick names Twitch Partners, YouTubers with 50,000 subscribers and creators with 250,000 Instagram or TikTok followers as likely fits, and says its team reviews applications within 24 hours.
Kick bases Partner pay on your average audience over a rolling window of recent streams, plus content factors such as language and region, and counts no bot or tool-driven views. It moved to that rolling model in September 2026, after a calculation error cut some Partners’ pay and Kick sent backpay, according to Streams Charts. Kick will not publish the formula. If you multistream to Twitch or YouTube with the toggle on, Partner pay drops by 50% for that session, and streams in the Slots and Casino category are not monetized.
Ads and Bounties
Kick runs platform ads on streams, and creators cannot opt out. Those ads pay nothing directly, though subscribers do not see them. Bounties are challenges posted on Kick’s bounties site that pay winners in gifted subs or Kick Shop gift cards.
Who is Kick best for?
Kick suits streamers who can bring viewers with them and want to keep nearly all of their sub and tip money. Established creators who qualify for Fast Track get the most out of it, since Partner pay adds income that Twitch has no equivalent for.
Skip Kick if Stripe does not pay out where you live, or if you need income you can predict month to month. Partner rates move with a formula you cannot see, and Kick’s September 2026 payout errors show how much rides on it. Kick, like Twitch, gives you no way to export subscriber emails.
